hp_scroogemas is a dark holiday prompt fest for the Harry Potter fandom. Only dark fanworks, supremely angsty fanworks, or fanworks with dysfunctional relationships will be accepted. You may either claim a prompt suggested by someone else or choose your own - whichever you find more inspirational. Once you complete your entry, you may select another prompt. Prompts may be claimed multiple times. When you are finished creating your fanwork, email it to hpscroogemas.mods@gmail.com. It will be posted anonymously during the posting period. Yes, that means this fest is anonymous.

The Goal: Counteract the influx of fluff around the holidays with fanworks that would make even Scrooge (or Snape? *wink*) smile.

The mods (of which I am one) would be thrilled to see the presence of the Dark Lord and his followers in some of these dark holiday fanworks.  We'd love some Death Eater Christmases, winters in Azkaban, and remember that Tom Riddle Jr's birthday is the thirty-first of December, meaning that it falls squarely in the "holiday" timeframe!
