The Dark Lord and Music

So I'm curious what people think about the Dark Lord and music, or what associations they might have, and thought a little discussion post on the subject could be fun.

A few questions to play with:

- what's your soundtrack for writing Voldemort fic or doing Voldemort art? Do you have playlists for different Dark Lord pairings? What's on them? Anything that might be unexpected?
My Voldemort/Severus playlist, for instance, includes a curious mix: Queen (Who Wants To Live Forever?), X Japan (Forever Love, I.V.), Leonard Cohen (Be For Real, First We Take Manhattan, A Thousand Kisses Deep), even Lady Gaga (Highway Unicorn)! Though if I had to pick one song for this pairing, it would be Cohen's Waiting for the Miracle. It's...a long story. ;)

- what kind of music do you think young Tom might have been exposed to during his years in the orphanage?

- what do you think adult Voldemort's thoughts/feelings about music might be? Hate it? Indifferent? Has a super-secret liking for some Muggle band? Thinks only wizarding music is acceptable, and might consider it for propaganda purposes?
